http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=7587 Summary: Enumeration expiration negotiation is incomplete and inefficient Product: WS-Resource Access Version: PR Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Enumeration AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: gilbert.pilz@oracle.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org This is the WS-Enumeration analog to issue 7478. WS-Enumeration allows a Consumer to include an wsen:Expires value in the wsen:Enumerate request but the Data Source is not constrained by this value in any way. Proposal 1: constrain the Data Source to either honor the requested expiration time or fault the Enumeration request. Proposal 2: don't allow the Consumer to include an wsen:Expires value in the wsen:Enumerate request. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
