Summary: possible ambiguity of extensions in PutResponse and
CreateResponse
Product: WS-Resource Access
Version: PR
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Transfer
AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org
ReportedBy: gilbert.pilz@oracle.com
QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org
Both PutResponse and CreateResponse might or might not contain the
representation of the put/created resource. Both PutResponse and CreateResponse
might or might not contain extension elements. How is the client supposed to
tell the difference between a response that contains the representation and a
response that does not contain a representation but does contain an extension
element?
