http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=8159 Summary: Enum: does maxChars include the wsen:Items element? Product: WS-Resource Access Version: FPWD Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Enumeration AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: dug@us.ibm.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org Enum says this about maxChars: Implementations MUST NOT return a Pull response message whose wsen:Items element is larger than MaxCharacters. its not clear if this includes the wsen:Items element or just its children. Proposals: change the above sentence to either: 1) Implementations MUST NOT return a Pull response message whose wsen:Items element, and all of its children, is larger than MaxCharacters. or 2) Implementations MUST NOT return a Pull response message whose total child elements under the wsen:Items element is larger than MaxCharacters. Either works for me but we should let the people who have implemented this sway our decision. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
