http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6916 Summary: Event and Enum: change MAY generate to MUST generate Product: WS-Resource Access Version: FPWD Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: All AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: dug@us.ibm.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org In Eventing and Enum there are several places where it talks about the request message failing and how the service MAY then generate a certain type of fault. To increase interop, these MAYs should be MUSTs. A service is always free to transmit the fault, but if it does transmit a fault we need to ensure that everyone agrees on which fault it is. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
