http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6691 Summary: WS-T/RT - Reconcile faults Product: WS-Resource Access Version: PR Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Transfer AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: katy_warr@uk.ibm.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org The faults in WS-Transfer and ResourceTransfer require some reconciliation. In particular, the WST spec only defines one fault 'InvalidRepresentation' as a catch-all applicable only to Put and Create. WS-RT provides a large number of faults which appear to have no grouping and each one applies to a different selection of operations. For implementers, it would help to sort/group these faults. Additionally, it would be better if WST's faults were extensible and re-usable in order to ensure a consistent pattern across the 2 specs. Detailed proposal in progress. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
