One clarification. * finally, I don't understand how a generic AllInOrder approach makes like for consumers easier if compared to using a domain specific policy expression specifying some ordering. Yes, policy engine will recognize that AllInOrder children are in order but it's up to the runtime to figure out what this ordering means, which is a domain-specific knowledge. What I really wanted to say that while a policy engine will give an indication to the runtime that the assertions are ordered, the runtime can't really enforce an ordering blindly, it needs to ensure it makes sense. Hence it's unclear why a generic soultion at the framework level will make it easier to deal with spme specific ordering problems. Likewise, while individual policy assertions can be securely signed, a policy language operator can't. That's another reason where a domain specific expression to do with ordering would make a better solution as it can be signed too.
