FYI - on July 25th, the WS-Addressing WG dropped [1] the WS-PAEPR's analogous feature for embedding WSDL in an EPR (Dropped Section 2.2 - Web Services Addressing 1.0 - Metadata [2]) because the feature did not meet the CR implementation bar. Well, with the caveat s/public/open/ I agree. >From Progress' POV, it's more about not wanting to pull in Yet Another Spec in order to understand the pretty simple use-case of attaching a Policy directly to an EPR! A related question - why do we allow WSDL to be directly attached to EPRs? Shouldn't all you MEX-heads have protested the inclusion of wsa:Metadata at all? It seems to me either we should have bitten the bullet and made wsa:Metadata -> wsmex:Metadata, OR we should allow and define both wsa:Metadata/wsdl:Description and wsa:Metadata/wsp:Policy.
