Web Services Policy 1.5 - Guidelines for Policy Assertion Authors, Primer 2006-12-21: The Web Services Policy Working Group has published two Web Services Policy 1.5 - Working Drafts: an update to the Primer<http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-ws-policy-primer-20061221> and a First Public Working Draft of Guidelines for Policy Assertion Authors<http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-ws-policy-guidelines-20061221>. The new Guidelines document provides guidance for assertion authors that will work with the Web Services Policy 1.5 Framework<http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-ws-policy-20061117/> and Attachment<http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-ws-policy-attach-20061117/> specifications to create domain specific assertions. Web Services Policy Framework defines a base set of constructs that can be used and extended by other Web services specifications to describe a broad range of service requirements and capabilities.
