Thanks for this detailed review of the Editorial actions and for your updates. Chris and I are meeting tomorrow and will use this to ensure that next week's WG agenda is as effective as possible.

Subject: RE: Need a call tomorrow?

Hi Paul (et. al),

I have reviewed all the WG AIs assigned to editors (listed below in your original note). Here is an update on each of them:

>4. Editorial team report
>
>a) Terms should be defined/targeted in the appropriate sections of the spec, Editors
>http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3720
>Action item:

PY> From the f2f IRC log (@ http://www.w3.org/2006/09/12-ws-policy-irc), I find
ACTION: Glen to find/reopen or open a new issue re: clarifying section 1 and making definitions point to the sections where terms are normatively defined.
19:22:08 [trackbot]
Created ACTION-98 - Find/reopen or open a new issue re: clarifying section 1 and making definitions point to the sections where terms are normatively defined. [on Glen Daniels - due 2006-09-19].

The original AI was on Glen to open the issue. As you listed above, the corresponding bug 3720 seems to have been opened.
So it seems the AI itself should be considered done. I am not sure why we wanted a bug to be opened, but is this bug ready to be assigned to the editors (or further discussion in the WG is needed on the bug)? The bug status is still "NEW".

b) Editors to clarify the use of the term "domain", Editors
http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3706
Action item:

PY> Corresponding Editors Action Item is (#14): http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicyeds/actions/14
I have updated WG AI 94 with information on the corresponding Editors AI.

c) In Section 3.1 add a link to sec 4.3.2 from "policy expression nesting", Editors
http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicy/actions/95

PY> Corresponding Editors Action Item is (#13): http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicyeds/actions/13
I have updated WG AI 95 with information on the corresponding Editors AI.

d) Review next editors draft to see if there are any security considerations from framework doc that apply to attachment doc, Editors

PY> The Corresponding editors Action Item is (#44): http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicyeds/actions/44

e) Add proposed text for Issue 3577, Editors

PY> Corresponding Editors' AI is (#29): http://www.w3.org/2005/06/tracker/wspolicyeds/actions/29

Paul,

I have the task to present the Ed team status for the WG call.
On a quick review, it seems at least a couple of them are duplicates of the Editorial AIs.
I will get the latest status on all these for the WG call.

Regards,
Prasad

I just updated the agenda for next week's WS-Policy WG. Can someone from the Editorial team please be ready to give a status on the following items. If some of these WG action items are duplicates of Editorial action items just let the WG know when/how they will be done.

RE: Need a call tomorrow?

I don't think we need it (we have no topics to discuss). We all have of plenty of AIs (editing work) that we targeted for completing by Monday (9/25). Perhaps we could use that time towards that instead.

Thanks.

Prasad

As decided in our last f2f, I am supposed to ask if we need to have an editors' call tomorrow. If not, the next call will be as scheduled on Wednesday September 27. Thanks! -- Toufic
