ws addressing metadata spec LC draft has defines a nested assertion, and in the schema it specifies wsp:Policy as a nested element, using the explicit namespace xmlns:wsp="http://www.w3.org/2006/07/ws-policy" . This is problematic, since it ties ws addressing metadata spec to a non standards track version of ws-policy. Proposed solution: Either: a) If the group agrees to tie WS addressing metadata to a single version of WS-Policy, it should use the latest w3c standards track version of WS-policy spec before ws-addressing is progressed to CR. or: b) The explicit version of ws policy should be abstracted somehow to work with more than one version of WS-Policy (e.g., use an xs:any to specify the nested element for the Addressing assertion.) -- -- Tom Rutt Tel: +1 732 801 5744 Fax: +1 732 774 5133 email: tom@coastin.com; trutt@us.fujitsu.com
