The mission of the Web of Things Working Group is to counter the fragmentation of the Internet of Things (IoT) through the specification of building blocks that enable easy integration of IoT devices and services across IoT platforms and application domains. The proposed new charter: * Simplifies the description on the group scope. * Adds further clarification on the motivation and background. * Updates the descriptions on the normative deliverables: Architecture (Update) , Discovery (Update) , Thing Description (Update) , Profile and Profile (Update). * Updates the list of the coordination on W3C groups and external standardization organizations based on the recent situation. * Proposes to add Michael Koster to the co-Chairs. The proposed team resource for this group is from 0.3 to 0.2 FTE. Current participants will not need to re-join the group if the new charter is approved.
