Minutes review

     [11] https://www.w3.org/2020/05/25-wot-discovery-minutes.html

   typo (ixed -> fixed), JSON-LD (1.0 -> 1.1)

   <inserted> (typos fixed)

no objections on publishing May 25th minutes

Next discovery meetings

McCool: next meetings in June may need to be cancelled due to
   conflicts with T2TRG, plugfest, F2F
... should we keep those meetings to work toward preparations
   for plugfest and F2F?
... next week (June 8) should be canceled. The week after (June
   15) will be used for F2F presentation finalizations

   Kaz: conflict on June 15th

McCool: shift the plugfest preparation call to an hour earlier
and have the Discovery call at this time, such that kaz could
   also attend.

     [12] https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/F2F_meeting_2020_2nd

McCool: will wait for feedback from a larger audience for
   resolution on discovery design decisions.

F2F planning

McCool: reduced the opening slot and security (by 5min) to
   allocate extra time to discovery.
... will discuss the discovery presentation on the week after

     [13] https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/F2F_meeting_2020_2nd

   McCool: no open PRs

Design document

   <kaz> [14]Design document draft

     [14] https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/blob/master/design.md

   McCool: going through different points
... to be JSON-LD compliant, we should inserted the global
   context even to partial documents.
... the directory entry object containing the TD and other
directory related metadata needs a context

Andrea: Is pagination mandatory? SPARQL doesn't support
   pagination.

McCool: pagination reduces the load on the client. It should be
   provided.

Cristiano: sparql supports offset and limit, which can be used
   for pagination.
... it is also very important to reduce the server load.

McCool: partial results: query mechanisms such as jsonpath
naturally support return of partial results.
... for JSON-LD, the context must be added to TD fragments.
   ... discussing minimum (recommended)
   authentication/authorization requirements.

McCool: among basic, digest, jwt token, oauth2, the token based
schemes provide scope better protection and also scope-based
   access control
... discovery API described in a TD

Andrea: can we use SPARQL to discover directories? Can one
   directory point to another?
... can one directory point to all other directories? is this
   scalable?

   McCool: updated document:
   [15]https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/blob/master/design.md

     [15] https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/blob/master/design.md

Closing

McCool: please create issues for other topics to discuss
   further
... provide feedback on existing issues e.g. TD signing,
pagination, partial TD, query and filtering, etc

regular time. Plugfest preperation meeting will be one hour
   earlier.
