Save the Date: W3C Web of Things Event in China 2026

Dear WoT community,

in today’s main call, there was unfortunately not enough time to highlight the official approval of the W3C Web of Things Event in China 2026:

https://www.w3.org/events/happenings/2026/w3c-web-of-things-event-in-china-2026/

This time, the host will be Huawei, and the venue will be the Huawei Shanghai Campus.

We will start on 15 June 2026 with an open day. The current high-level agenda for that day is:

Session 1: Overview of the WoT landscape
Session 2: Enabling an interoperable intelligent IoT ecosystem
Session 3: WoT use cases and applications

We are still working on the detailed agenda and will keep you informed once there are updates.

On the following days, 16–18 June 2026, we will run a WoT PlugFest that offers hands-on opportunities to explore WoT in general, test new WoT features, and build interoperable applications together.

More details, including registration information, will be shared soon. The event will be organized as a hybrid event.

I would be very happy to see many of you in China.

Best regards,
Sebastian
