Best regards, Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Advance notice: Work in progress on Web of Things Interest Group Charter; Current Charter Extended Date: Fri, 22 Dec 2023 17:28:50 +0800 From: xueyuan <xueyuan@w3.org> To: w3c-ac-members@w3.org Dear Advisory Committee Representative, [This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs] This is an advance notice that the Team is currently working on a new charter for the Web of Things Interest Group: https://w3c.github.io/wot-charter-drafts/wot-ig-2023-draft.html The mission of the Web of Things Interest Group (WoT IG) is to support the efforts of the Web of Things Working Group (WoT WG) by identifying appropriate standardization targets through engagement with stakeholders inside and outside the W3C and by collection and analysis of use cases and requirements. The Team expects to formally propose this charter to the Membership in February 2024. We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make your comments public, you're welcome to raise comments on the draft charter at: https://github.com/w3c/wot-charter-drafts/issues W3C Members may also discuss on the member-confidential mailing list <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>[1]. We also welcome your general expressions of interest and support on that mailing list. The current charter [2] is hereby extended to 31 March 2024, to allow the WoT IG to continue its work and to cover the time needed for the rechartering process to complete.
