Invitation to Web Thing Protocol Community Group meeting at TPAC 2022

Dear WoT WG/IG/CG members,

I’d like to make you aware of the first formal meeting of the W3C Web Thing
Protocol Community Group (https://www.w3.org/community/web-thing-protocol/)
on Thursday 15th September at TPAC 2022.

The goal of the group is to define a common protocol for communicating with
connected devices over the web, to enable ad-hoc interoperability on the
Web of Things. This work is intended to complement the work of the Web of
Things Working Group by defining a sub-protocol which can be used in
conjunction with WoT Thing Descriptions.
