[6]Planning Meeting minutes review of last week's notes <kaz> [7]Feb-10 [7] https://www.w3.org/2021/02/10-wot-pf-minutes.html McCool: please use the main branch going forward as targets for your PRs … any objections? … none - (meetings are approved.) Agenda - getting Wiki organzied - updating TDs Planning McCool: we added the hardware.md file to the repo, this will be input into profiles … development size vs. minimum size … ESP32 and Nordic were discussed, Nordic has 32 kb … There's a 1000:1 ratio between large and small Lagally: why not create a list of plugfest devices McCool: we can create a list of implementation platforms where plugfest participants describe the hardware they use and capabilities they support. Toumura: (can't hear what Toumura-san mentioned due to some audio trouble) Mizushima: Japanese CG would like to contribute on the new TD, would like to talk with Toumura Kaz: there was some audio problems with Toumura-san's line, but a potential contribution on a Raspberry Pi could be likely considered McCool: I know Matsukura-san was very interested in greenhouse horticulture … we can break up the readme and create a dedicated scenario description in a separate file. [11]https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/main/events/ 2021.03.Online/scenarios [11] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/main/events/2021.03.Online/scenarios Philipp: I'm working on a dev kit to make development simpler … when this is ready, I'm happy to provide some devices McCool: is this Nordic based? Philipp: yes McCool: In addition to hardware we need software stacks with certain capabilities Philipp: it will contain the full RIOT SW stack McCool: We also have goals, each group could use their own McCool: we discussed signing requirements and corresponding use case in the security TF … perhaps RIOT OS can work on that? … controller consumes a TD for controlling a device Philipp: This is kind of complex and we don't have security implemented yet McCool: Security is optional, this would be an interesting real-world use case … we could use nosec for the test case … also on a small device I cannot do RDF etc. … if I do mDNS discovery I can get hundreds of devices … we should be able to use filters … this raises a requirement to have filters even for self discovery McCool: People are encouraged to contribute their own scenarios … we should add geolocation mashup (creates scenario description file) [12]https://github.com/w3c/ wot-testing/tree/main/events/2021.03.Online/scenarios/geolocati on.md [12] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/main/events/2021.03.Online/scenarios/geolocation.md Daniel: It was difficult to get TDs from github … I used a map service to lookup location information McCool: other use cases? Koster: I'm working on a "one fieldbus" project, … putting together a small reference platform, perhaps also add a scenario Koster: not sure if I have sth. available for plug fest McCool: I have not seen any OPC-UA binding, Siemens had their Pump device … we need to get TDs updated <Zakim> dape, you wanted to ThingModel scenaril Daniel: Getting from a thing model to an actual TD is a scenario Koster: I'm also working on sth similar in SDF McCool: thing models / digital twins need a scenario too … instantiate a TD from a TM Koster: I have a modbus power supply I can put on a bridge and create a TD McCool: we only have two weeks left, please write down concrete scenarios … probably some university work on agricultural scenarios can be considered … need to discuss with Fraunhofer about discovery Kaz: Do we use VPN with Amazon web services? McCool: not necessarily, discovery with mDNS over the Internet is difficult Kaz: we need to involve Farshid as well McCool: will discuss discovery scenarios with Farshid on Monday … AOB? none [adjourned] Minutes manually created (not a transcript), formatted by [13]scribe.perl version 127 (Wed Dec 30 17:39:58 2020 UTC).
