Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Chairs,

This is a Call for Review of a proposed charter for the Web of Things
Interest Group (WoT IG):
    https://www.w3.org/2019/07/wot-ig-2019.html

The proposed charter simplifies the scope and the deliverables in order
to broaden the range of participants and get the necessary skills and
resources for real-world application scenarios in different verticals.
In addition, the coordination section is updated with the related W3C
groups and external organizations based on the recent/expected liaisons.

The group continues its work to support the Web of Things Working Group
(WoT WG) and to explore opportunities for new standards-track work
within W3C. The priority in this third charter period is gaining
additional practical experience with the in-development building blocks
in the field to enable open markets of services on the scale of the Web.
[...]

The proposed staff time for this group is 0.2 FTE.

A diff [1] showing changes between the old and new charter is available.

The current Interest Group charter [2] has also been extended until 31
December 2019 to accommodate the review by the Advisory Committee.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
the Web of Things Interest Group Staff Contacts, Kaz Ashimura
<ashimura@w3.org> and Dave Raggett <dsr@w3.org>.

This charter review follows section 5 of the W3C Process Document:
    https://www.w3.org/2019/Process-20190301/#GAGeneral

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
Kazuyuki Ashimura & Dave Raggett, WoT IG Staff Contacts;
