Thanks, Kazuyuki --- [1]W3C [1] http://www.w3.org/ - DRAFT - WoT PlugFest 24 Jul 2019 Attendees Present Kaz_Ashimura, Michael_McCool, Christian_Glomb, Kunihiko_Toumura, Michael_Lagally, Takahisa_Suzuki, Tomoaki_Mizushima, Toru_Kawaguchi Regrets Ege_Korkan Chair Lagally Scribe kaz Contents * [2]Topics 1. [3]Agenda 2. [4]Demo planning * [5]Summary of Action Items * [6]Summary of Resolutions __________________________________________________________ Agenda Lagally: demo goals, demo planning, PRs, scenarios, logistics Demo planning [7]README.md on Demo Planning [7] https://github.com/w3c/wot/tree/master/plugfest/2019-tpac-fukuoka McCool: would retire old devices ... would like to bring AI speaker but have not been working on that ... let's put the current scenario off unfortunately Lagally: (removes uncertain part) ... please update the content for your plan, and also upload your TDs McCool: ok (McCool leaves) Lagally: have been contacting Mozilla but no response yet ... they're not registered with TPAC 2019 ... btw, is there any device from Siemens for the smart home scenario? Christian: maybe not for "smart home" though possibly for "smart building" ... the possibility is "HVAC" sensor Lagally: (adds it to the demo plan README) ... do we have any other devices? ... what about NHK? Kaz: asking them to join this call ... in short what they're doing is using a TV set as kind of a smartphone with a big display for UI for smart home environment ... could be part of the smart home scenario Lagally: ok Kaz: btw, how about adding a diagram to each scenario to clarify the input and output at some point? Lagally: good idea Toumura: I can generate some diagram automatically ... but maybe it might be better to generate a diagram manually first Lagally: note that maybe it's too early to generate detailed diagrams at the moment Kaz: that's true Toumura: simple diagram on input/output vs detailed network configuration diagram? ... do you want that kind of detailed diagram to show the connection? Lagally: would be useful to show which part is on the cloud, which part is remotely located and which part is locally installed Toumura: can look into which kind of information should be described Lagally: not sure about NHK, e.g., how to handle broadcasting information Toumura: right ... can try to generate some diagram for the current scenario Lagally: tx! ... next "Industrial integration scenarios" ... robot arm by TUM ... drain tank at chemical factory by Siemens? Christian: let me check with Sebastian Lagally: ok ... then "Smart Building, Smart City" ... EcoG charger? Christian: simulated charger Lagally: what about "air conditioner"? Christian: think it worked with Panasonic and Hitachi ... maybe only Panasonic this time Lagally: ok ... what about "Charging demo"? Christian: that's the same as above ... so you can remove it Lagally: ok ... what about Fujitsu? ... some kind of solar panel? ... we can have discussion about that ... (save all the changes, and shows the updated README) [8]updated README on Demo Planning [8] https://github.com/w3c/wot/tree/master/plugfest/2019-tpac-fukuoka Lagally: would be great to have an overview diagram ... would invite people to think about possible combination of multiple scenarios here ... not for today but can continue to think ... we're pretty much done for today ... for next week... ... will be on vacation myself ... anybody else to chair the call? Kaz: if you want, I can chair the call to see the progress quickly Lagally: ok :) ... any other business for today? (none) Lagally: just let's see the demo prep slot [9]demo prep slot [9] https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/F2F_meeting,_16-20_September_2019,_Fukuoka,_Japan#Demo_preparation_.2814-15_or_16-17_Sep_2019.29 Kaz: would suggest we concentrate on Sunday, Sep. 15 for preparation ... because there will be dev meetup already on Monday ... will check the requirements for dev meetup demo Lagally: if you're interested in getting a sponsor for dev meetup, please let me and Kaz know [adjourned] Summary of Action Items Summary of Resolutions [End of minutes] __________________________________________________________ Minutes manually created (not a transcript), formatted by David Booth's [10]scribe.perl version 1.154 ([11]CVS log) $Date: 2019/07/29 08:28:08 $ [10] http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2002/scribe/scribedoc.htm [11] http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/2002/scribe/
