As part of the collaboration between W3C and other IoT industry alliances and SDOs, I have participated in the AIOTI WG3 work on semantic interoperability, and got to present this at a recent workshop hosted by the European Commission. For more details, see:

p.s. AIOTI was set up to support the large scale IoT pilot projects that will be partially funded by the European Commission.  AIOTI WG3 focuses on standardisation. See:
