what about C64 self modified and code replacement technic

C64 programmer use this technic to REPLACE running code
and complete program parts with a new implementation.

e.g. KI of an computer player or level parts of an game

In the C64 area it is not possible to change the function
pointer to a new implementation of a subroutine/program part.
Reason: no memory left.

Solution: replace the current running code with the new version
loaded from the datasette/casette/disk. This is seamles update
mechnism of running code

This is absolute the same behavior like the update mechanism
via internet of an running application.
