In regards to the multimedia API that made it into the spec back in March/April: http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/dnd.html#obtaining-local-multimedia-content I've found this preview from Opera: http://my.opera.com/core/blog/2011/03/23/webcam-orientation-preview And Mozilla is planning additional APIs on top, but doesn't seem to have an implementation: https://wiki.mozilla.org/MediaStreamAPI It looks like Microsoft is going in a different direction: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/interoperability/archive/2011/06/07/new-media-capture-audio-prototype-released.aspx - implementing http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/ What's the status of other implementations?
