Hi, A few months ago all float attributes changed to double attributes [1]. I'm wondering why float IDL attributes reflecting content attributes moved to double attributes given that the content attributes are still following the rules for parsing floating point numbers [2]. So, AFAIUI, these double IDL attributes will be limited to single precision floating point values so why using the double type instead of the float type?
