That makes sense So can we have a <errorLabel> tag where the for attribute can point to the control in question? Or is that going against the paradigm too? More accessible Can be styled By the way, is using providing functionality using JavaScript considered accessible as per section 508? If not, then the only way to customize error messages can't be using JavaScript? Every US government contract (practically) and large enterprises requires compliance with section 508.
