Hello. One thing that would help with the microformats in a more consistent way, as wel as with the hole x(ht)ml content, would be if an XML Island element was part of the standard. There is a power of XML that XHTML specs sow in HTML, but XHTML was never the answer. XML content should have had a wrapper element of it's own. It's implementation should be more descriptive than the one Microsoft provided, more close to the definition list element, in order to provide a mechanism for describing the DTD in that xml island:?<xml><xml-dt>DTD goes here</xml-dt><xml-dd>xml string goes here<xml-dd></xml>.
