[whatwg] Article: Growing pains afflict HTML5 standardization

I'd like to encourage everyone on this thread to please remember that the
topic of this mailing list is technical discussion of HTML itself, not
discussion about discussion, or as in this case, discussion about
discussion (an article) of discussion (arguments mentioned in the
article). Let's please focus on specific technical matters that can
actually improve the Web, rather than process issues.

If you would like to discuss the article in question, it has a comments
section for this very purpose. There's also an "off topic" section on the
WHATWG forums:

   http://forums.whatwg.org/

As HTML returns to the media limelight it held in the late 90s, people may
be interested in discussing the coverage more and more. Similarly, people
may be interested in discussing the "inside baseball" matters such as the
various decision policies in place around this work. If there is demand
for it, I'd be happy to create a mailing list for the purpose of
discussing these matters on the WHATWG servers. Please let me know if this
is something you'd be interested in.

Thanks in advance for everyone's restraint,
