Hi all, most of the traffic of university hostel's and home users goes for streaming media like YouTube. And most of the time we are connected behind proxy for example my institute use squid proxy. But as per my knowledge , squid is not successful to cache the flash based (ex YouTube) video. I do not know the behaviour of html5 video tag but If it is possible to cache such video in proxy then huge bandwidth will be saved !! -- ??????????????????????????? ?
