I suggest simply deleting "It must be admitted that many aspects of HTML appear at first glance to be nonsensical and inconsistent." I would disagree with nonsensical, and in any case this sentence adds nothing to the text. However if this sentence is retained, at least deleted "It must be admitted that" in favor of simply "Many aspects of HTML appear at first glance to be nonsensical and inconsistent" or better yet "Many aspects of HTML appear at first glance to be inconsistent" or even "Many aspects of HTML are inconsistent." If any part of this sentence is retained, it should be combined with the following paragraph. In fact, the first 3 paragraphs could likely be combined. -- Elliotte Rusty Harold elharo at ibiblio.org
