How can load() be invoked when certain method calls have not yet returned?
Isn't ECMAScript supposed to be synchronous? Or does this definition tries
to cater for other languages where this might not be the case, or
something?

Why does it switch to the PAUSED state? Isn't it only supposed to be
loading the content?
