   You could make an argument that trademarks have semantic value, but
it's kinda weak, because you can identify the company by name as well.
Here's some markup:

   (Not sure I got the CSS right, but you get the idea.)

   Much better example. That probably is semantic, yes.

   However, is there any situation where <object> couldn't be used
instead of <img>?
