A lot of the items discussed in the working document describe functionality that we have been building into our system using javascript (well that's the whole point isn't it?), what I was wondering is if anyone knows of a project to implement an emulation of this functionality in current browsers using javascript? What I object to is designing HTML5 so that |title| is the only thing that can be used for pattern hints on legacy browsers. Note that I do not support the use of an attribute for pattern hints. This clearly doesn't degrade gracefully.
