-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, First I will introduce myself. My name is Franck. I am a french developper who work on J2EE web-applications at work. I am also working on a Konqueror plugin ( http://shift.freezope.org/konq_rellinks ) and other free softwares. My mail was to ask for including the maxlength to textarea tag but somebody just tell me that it is already done. I haven't seen the line "The maxlength attribute applies to textarea controls." :) So I will ask a question about the way browsers will implement it. How a new line will be represented ? On Mac new line = \r => One character, On Unix/Linux new line = \n => One character; On Windows new line = \r\n => Two characters. Which style of new line will be used ? Will it be possible to include an attribute to specifie the way new lines are handle or are there any ways to done that with current HTML specifications ? Thanks a lot, Franck Qu?lain -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA4GBe0lzeB7dZKz0RAsb6AJ9eFmUkBJkytNhdlnZkDeudmFh6ygCglj/0 GVDs38hrdbi2jOgeFGc6JBs= =MPA7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
