Dear W3C Development Team, My name is Julio Ortega, and I am reaching out to you to express a concern related to the standard color names in HTML. I have noticed that the color code #CD853F is known as "Peru" in the X11 color palette. While I understand that color names are based on technical standards, I would like to bring to your attention that associating this color code with the name of a country may be offensive to some individuals. I am particularly concerned about how the use of a color name coinciding with that of a country might be interpreted and misused. In the case of the color code #CD853F, known as "Peru," I kindly request that you consider the possibility of reviewing and, if appropriate, modifying the association of this color code with the name of a country. I appreciate your attention to this matter and am willing to provide additional information or discuss the issue in greater detail if desired. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,
