I know that Studio24 are developing a color palette for the newly-redesigned W3C website. I thought it's also worth noting that our spec stylesheets also have a strong multi-color palette already, particularly in the use of colored boxes for notes/examples/issues/etc. https://www.w3.org/StyleSheets/TR/2016/readme.html I think it's worth asking if we want these to match, and if so what adjustments we'd want to make to either or both of them to make them match (while not disrupting the readability of the specs of course). I'll note additionally that the colors (blue for definitions, yellow for examples, green for notes, and red for issues) are fairly well-established, so we probably want to continue using some recognizable variant of those hues for their respective purposes in the specs, at least. ~fantasai
