Good Afternoon Coralie and the W3C team, I’m emailing regarding the Website Redesign RFP that we have received from the publicly accessible portal. As per the instructions contained in this document, we wish to submit a selection of questions that we would appreciate some clarification around; 1. In section 4.2, point 9. You have referenced support for bidi relating to your content and navigation. We understand this to mean Bi-Directional, but could you please elaborate on this point as to exactly what you’re looking for? 2. The variance in pricing around website redesigns can be notoriously disparate as it is possible to build a website for $5,000 just as it is possible to build a website for $500,000 and everything in between. To help us understand the reality versus budget, it would be helpful to get some steer as to even roughly what sort of budget you would have signed off to spend. 3. Is there scope to repurpose/reversion existing content to bring it up to the standard of the new website, or are looking for a complete rebuild of your content? 4. Other than Coralie, can we understand who the other key stakeholders in the business are, who are responsible for the decision making process on this project? I’m asking as you have cited Advisory boards and various teams throughout the business who will be involved. 5. In section 6, you have published the evaluation criteria. Could you clarify if/how these are weighted? i.e. point 1 accounts for 20%, point 2 is 15% etc…. I look forward to receiving your answers back and hopefully progressing to submitting a proposal.
