RE: Updated charter draft of Web-based Signage WG

Dear Kiyoshi-san:

Thank you for the decision to include DSMA in the Web-based Signage Working Group Charter. Below is a description of DSMA. Feel free to suggest changes if needed:

Digital Signage Multimedia Alliance (DSMA)
DSMA consists over 200 member companies dedicated to the digital signage industry, including end users, system integrators, content developers and manufacturers. DSMA is the organizer of the annual Digital Signage Asia Forum presented at the InfoComm China event.

Please kindly advise if the information is appropriate.

John.

Dear Mr. Wang, and all,

Happy new year!

I've received only positive (no negative) opinion for adding DSMA to External Organization for coordination.
So, I think it is OK to add it.

Mr. Wang,
Could you provide me the text for DSMA explanation to be described in 3.2?

Best regards,
Kiyoshi

We are also an integral part of the earlier standardization efforts at POPAI in U.S.A where we helped establish device profiles for signage. I expect we can contribute in similar ways for the new WG effort.

As you can see in the DSMA org chart, our organization is inclusive of companies that directly impact the global digital signage landscape. I believe our participation will help make the proposed standard more representative of cross-industry needs, and enable faster industry adoption with compliant products that people can actually deploy.
