Hi all, I'd like to discuss the gap analysis of R11. http://www.w3.org/community/websignage/wiki/Web-based_Signage_Use_cases_and_Requirements#Gap_analysis_11 "Encrypted Media Extensions" are listed as a solution for the requirement. http://dvcs.w3.org/hg/html-media/raw-file/tip/encrypted-media/encrypted-media.html R11 implies not only streaming but also video files saved in a storage. I'm wondering if "Encrypted Media Extensions" useful for video files saved in a storage. I'm not familiar with DRM. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
