lghall has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-region: == [Region capture] Statement of support from Google == I represent the engineering team from Google Docs editors. We have a strong product need for region capture support. We have launched a feature internally that makes use of the region capture API (using the Origin Trial) and it is working wonderfully for us and receiving strong positive user feedback. This API allows us to capture just a portion of a document tab, something that was not possible with prior browser APIs. We look forward to seeing this feature shipped in an upcoming Chrome release!
