franEID has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-main: == Is is not possible to identify if a device listed in MediaDevices.enumerateDevices() is virtual == For legal requirements in some streaming services it is mandatory that the video and audio captured come from real physical devices on the user device so video and audio injection must be blocked. The https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MediaDeviceInfo does not identify virtual devices. Is it possible to add the functionality to identify virtual devices? thanks Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-main/issues/896 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
