I heard several times that there are solutions and would greatly welcome precise descriptions of these solutions. The idea to adopt-and-let-it-fix-later is not appealing, especially since we are building something new, which is not consistent with other APIs (WebCodecs, WebAudio) in the field." [BA] While it was good to go over the relevant WHAT WG Streams issues at our October 14 Virtual Interim, we did not have Streams experts at the meeting. If WHATWG Streams were being developed within W3C, we could schedule a "Joint Meeting" to go over the Streams issues and potential solutions. But WHATWG and W3C are separate organizations, so it is not that simple. In some cases, there are "liaison meetings" where SDOs get together on a regular basis to discuss areas of intersection.
