In advance of the October 14 Virtual Interim, Jan-Ivar has prepared a specification for an alternative mediacapture-transform API proposal:

The alternative API proposal, also based on WHATWG Streams, illustrates the use of transferrable MediaStreamTracks, which recently (successfully) completed a Call for Consensus.
