FYI: Machine Learning workshop & WebRTC

Hi,

As some of you may know, I'm organizing a virtual workshop on the role
of Web browsers in the Machine Learning ecosystem:
  https://www.w3.org/2020/06/machine-learning-workshop/

We released a number of expert presentations a couple of weeks ago to
stimulate discussions:
  https://www.w3.org/2020/06/machine-learning-workshop/presentations.html

A number of these presentations touch on the challenges of applying ML
to media, which overlaps strongly with our NV use case on the topic:
  https://w3c.github.io/webrtc-nv-use-cases/#machinelearning*

In particular, Bernard has shared a talk where he introduces our work on
insertable streams:

https://www.w3.org/2020/06/machine-learning-workshop/talks/machine_learning_and_web_media.html

and started a related github discussion on the challenges around memory
management:
  https://github.com/w3c/machine-learning-workshop/issues/93

I invite you all to watch the presentations and take part in the github
issue discussions as you see fit.

If you are interested in joining the live sessions of the workshop later
this month, please get in touch.

Regards,

Dom
