samuelweiler has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/mst-content-hint: == Abstract: less jargon? == I love the Introduction of this doc - it makes the problem you're trying to solve crystal clear. Can you reasonably make the Abstract more accessible to the less-informed reader? In particular, the phrase "process track media" and the work "consumed" may be unnecessarily domain specific. Also, does "media-content" need to be hyphenated? I don't see it appearing that way in either the WebRTC nor Media Capture specs. Here's what I'm thinking: > This specification extends MediaStreamTrack to provide an optional hint about the type of media being carried (e.g. whether audio is music or speech). These hints may help users of media, such as PeerConnection (defined in [webrtc]) or MediaRecorder (defined in [mediastream-recording]), chose more appropriate encoding parameters and processing algorithms for that media.
