alvestrand has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-pc:

The spec change in https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-pc/pull/2223/files said that there was a "closing" event and that it fired when entering the "closing" state, but failed to add language that actually said "fire an event named closing".
