Dear members of the Web Real-Time Communications Working Group, I'm relaying the announcement to the group's primarily public mailing list, to notify the group of the charter extension. Best regards, Xueyuan -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Web Real-Time Communications Working Group Charter Extended Date: Thu, 31 May 2018 18:35:42 +0800 From: Xueyuan <xueyuan@w3.org> To: w3c-ac-members@w3.org CC: chairs@w3.org Dear Advisory Committee Representative, Chairs, The Web Real-Time Communications Working Group (WebRTC WG) Charter [1] is hereby extended until 31 July 2018. The Advisory Committee review of its proposed new charter [2] generated two Formal Objections. This two months extension will let the group continue its work while the W3C staff works with objectors and the broader community on these objections before proposing a path forward to the W3C Director. Information on how to participate in this group is available [3]. The group is currently chaired by Bernard Aboba (Microsoft), Harald Alvestrand (Google) and Stefan Håkansson (Ericsson). More information about the WebRTC WG is available on the group home page [4]. If you should have any questions or need further information, please contact Dominique Hazael-Massieux <dom@w3.org>, the Working Group Staff Contact. This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2018/Process-20180201/#charter-extension Thank you, For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Philippe Le Hégaret, Project Management Lead, Dominique Hazael-Massieux, WebRTC WG Staff Contact; Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://www.w3.org/2015/07/webrtc-charter.html [2] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-new-work/2018Apr/0008.html [3] https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/47318/join [4] https://www.w3.org/2011/04/webrtc/
