#1 Harald it is not appropriate to close bugs because you wish them to be
discussed on the list.

This bug is not invalid, there is a problem with the spec as it stands, and has
been implemented.

You may wish to discuss it on a list,
please feel free to take it there, and reference this bug
bugs filed are reported on the list in any case.

frankly as a volunteer, not an employee, I frequently do not have the time,
for bugs, I prefer the bug reporter, and have used it for well over a
decade....
one usually gets a definitive decision at some point.
