All, the chairs have given the task to Cullen Jennings, Dan Burnett, Anant Narayanan and Adam Bergkvist to start editing a WG internal document intended to be the starting point for a Recommendation. The editors will start by creating an Editors draft, and if there is agreement in the WG to do so this document will later be moved into a WG Working Draft and then hopefully eventually through all the stages according to the W3C process to a W3C Recommendation. To get a base line that is familiar to everyone the first version of the document will in terms of API and functionality description be identical to an API earlier proposed (http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webrtc/2011Jun/0028.html) as a starting point for the WG. The editors will of course from there on have the task to make updated releases that reflect what has been discussed and agreed in the WG. We've been promised a first version late next week!
