@shaharmor thank you for bringing up your use case. It is a good example in support of an API that allows an app to prevent the broadest set of STUN binding requests that could be sent by the ICE agent, including the initial checks. The simplified API proposed in the [15 October 2024 interim](https://www.w3.org/2024/10/15-webrtc-minutes.html) only allows for observing sent checks or initiating new ones. I will create a PR for this proposal (I've been on personal leave until recently). Your use case will, however, need the stronger proposal from TPAC 2024 that allowed the app to prevent sending certain checks. This last part proved more contentious, and will need more discussion in a future meeting. -- GitHub Notification of comment by sam-vi Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-extensions/issues/209#issuecomment-2891007932 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
