We already have the control surface,for deciding which codecs are acceptable in the form of SetParameters with "codecs", I believe. I would like to keep new APIs SDP-independent as far as possible; this likely means that we need a new representation for the parts of the configuration that matter to a decoder, to be included in the "onmedia" event.
