@alvestrand: Removed `static` from the method and updated the examples in https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-pc/pull/2175/commits/19799a0afbc5879eb01dc9a2710488b1c93bde13. Note that the currently described mechanism does still say that, if the permission has been granted, it will upgrade all `RTCPeerConnection` instances of the same origin.
