@taylor-b yes, that's what I was thinking. I'm still working through the implications (need to look through the other examples shared here), but basically some way to retain deterministic MediaStreamTrack IDs would be useful. My application signals additional information about each MediaStreamTrack out-of-band by keying off ID. This has gotten us far (especially since we stay away from things like `replaceTrack`), but I'm not yet sure how to update our usage to handle this MSID change. Anyway, thanks for the reply! And apologies if I'm barking up the wrong tree/too late here.
